Solan Europe
Solan Europe was established in 2011 and is based at our Poeldijk branch in the Netherlands.
Solan Europe was set up as a separate division of the company to specialise in supplying the retail/packing sectors of the market. Solan Europe will offer the full range of fresh produce but in particular pre-packed peppers, tomatoes and cucumbers.
The main activity of Solan Europe is to buy ungraded raw material in plastic trays direct from growers - this product will then be size & quality graded and pre-packed at our packing facility in Poeldijk.
Richard van der Heide will head up the division and primarily be involved with packing and sales within the Netherlands.
