Nationwide Produce PLC Celebrates A Great Place to Work-Certified™ Status
Nationwide Produce PLC is proud to celebrate our official Great Place to Work-Certified® for a third year row.
This year, 89% of employees said Nationwide Produce is a great place to work, compared to 54% of employees at a typical UK based company, solidifying our position as a workplace that prioritises employee satisfaction, inclusion, and professional growth.
This prestigious award is based on an extensive and anonymous survey completed by Nationwide Produce employees. The feedback is gathered by Great Place to Work® (GPTW®), the global authority on workplace culture that covers many values which are important to Nationwide. Since 1992, they have surveyed millions of employees and conducted extensive research to understand what makes a great workplace.

Tim O’Malley, Group Managing Director, said:
“At Nationwide Produce, we are proud to be recognised as a ‘Great Place to Work’ for yet another year running.”
“We owe our continued success to our team of dedicated employees. Alongside highlighting our successes, the survey also provides valuable insights into where we can improve, which is where we will focus our efforts. This certification feels particularly poignant this year as I reflect on one of my dad’s many pearls of wisdom: “Son, your staff are your number one asset. Not lorries, or packhouses, or offices… staff! Look after them and they’ll look after you.” He was right, as usual.”
Phil Johnson, Group HR Director, said:
“We are thrilled to have received this recognition, highlighting our sustained efforts to make every team member feel valued and supported. We pride ourselves in our inclusive company culture, fostering an environment where everyone feels empowered to do their best work and grow, and we firmly believe that this is the foundation of our success.”
The recent Great Place to Work certification highlights what truly sets Nationwide Produce apart: our people. The results highlight our values – fostering inclusion, building trust in management, and creation a welcoming, supportive environment. Listening to our employees’ honest feedback is essential in understanding their experiences and ensuring every voice is heard.
Growing from a £2.5m turnover in 1988 to £186m in 2024 is a testament to the dedication and hard work of our extraordinary team. If you’re ready for a career change and want to join a company where people matter, visit our Careers Page. We truly are a Great Place to Work!
