Creating the French potato dish – Pommes Aligot

Mark Poynton at Alimentum restaurant in Cambridge shows us how to make this traditional French potato dish – Pommes Aligot, or as Mark calls it ‘Cheesy Potatoes’.


  • 500g of Mint baby potatoes
  • 250g double cream
  • 250g butter
  • 250g grated cheese (Aligot in the recipe but any strong semi hard cheese will work)
