Evesham Operation – Change of Address and Trading name
Firstly, I would like to start by thanking you for your support during this unprecedented situation we find ourselves in. The dedication of our workforce and that of our partners has allowed us to weather the storm well, though it hasn’t been without its issues and I’m sure there will be more to come.
You will no doubt recall that we purchased an additional site (red perimeter) in Evesham last year literally just down the road from our original Vitaal UK site (green perimeter) on Enterprise Way. The bulk of the operational side of the business moved over to the new site in September 2019. I’m pleased to announce that the new site has been refurbished and all our Admin and Commercial functions also now operate from this site.
In conjunction with this move, from Saturday 3rd October we will be operating under the name of ‘Nationwide Produce PLC Evesham’ as opposed to ‘Vitaal UK’. Our company registration number and VAT Number will remain exactly the same as Vitaal UK was only ever a division of Nationwide, not a subsidiary. All emails and other correspondence from Vitaal UK will cease and be transferred to Nationwide Produce PLC.
The Vitaal trading name was created as historically our Evesham business specialised in exotic lines. As you will be fully aware, we now offer the full range with over 200 lines of Fresh Produce available daily. The Nationwide Produce name is synonymous with this and fully depicts the breadth of range and service we offer to all our valued customers.
Just to be clear, the Vitaal name shall continue for our Dutch division and fruit division in Kent.
There are no plans to sell the original site as it’s busy in an overflow capacity. It will continue to operate under the Vitaal banner to differentiate it from the new Nationwide site just down the road. So, you may still be directed there for collections and deliveries.
There will be further announcements with regards to the development of our Evesham business in the near future which I look forward to sharing with you.
