Nationwide celebrates 40 years in business
Hindsight’s a wonderful thing. We couldn’t possibly have imagined 40 years ago how far the journey would take us when we began in 1975, the friends we would make, the impact we would have on the industry, and the international partnerships we’ve established.
We’re celebrating 40 years in business. 40 years is a long time, and as a family firm the generations that have overseen the evolution of Nationwide Produce are incredibly thankful to everybody that has been, currently is, and will be a part of our extended family for years to come.
So, to celebrate, last weekend we had a huge blowout with all our staff and their spouses at Newmarket races, staying overnight at Cambridge on the Friday and indulging in the Premier Experience package over the weekend.
It was our first big celebration since we went to York races in 2009, but for our money nothing beats Newmarket – the home of horseracing – and it was a delight to see everybody enjoying the comforts of the Corporate area and getting up close to some amazing thoroughbreds.
So, we’d like to say thank you not only for coming, but for accepting our generosity and being part of Nationwide Produce. This weekend was a far cry from day one when Bernard O’Malley & Co was founded in Anthony’s bedroom – this year isn’t just our year, but yours too.
