Oh Baby is our Baby Leaf brand which is grown & packed in Leamington Spa. The Oh Baby range holds a mixture of varieties such as Baby Leaf Mix, Cress, Rocket, Baby Spinach as well as individual varieties such as Batavia, Chard and Bulls’ Blood.
Our grower has three first-class growing sites across Warwickshire, the rich soil is what gives our Oh Baby range its beautifully fresh taste. The automated irrigation systems located across the three Warwickshire sites allow our grower to apply fresh spring water pumped from their boreholes to the crop whenever and wherever is needed.
These sites also provide a packing facility, giving us the ability to supply a year-round supply of imported Baby Leaf through selected partners in Europe. Having our grower within one hour from our distribution centre, we are able to provide the ‘unwashed’ pre-packed
All varieties are available in a wide range of pack sizes. Please contact your account manager for more information.
About each of the varieties:
Our fresh and tangy tasting lamb’s lettuce is a versatile leafy green. It’s often used in salads to offer a slightly bitter taste. This leafy green has a high nutritional value providing vitamins and minerals such as Vitamins C, E and B9. Some chefs favour this leafy green over conventual lettuce due to its added benefits.
This beautiful peppery tasting leafy green is high in antioxidants and is favoured by chefs for adding a subtle kick to a multitude of dishes.
Our Mixed Leaf bag of salad is made up of 5 to 7 varieties covering texture, taste and colour. It’s a quick and easy solution for many chefs offering nutrient rich leafy greens perfect for side salads or lunches.
Red Chard offers the perfect pop of colour to your leafy green salads. Chard is an excellent source of vitamins K, A, and C. In addition, Chard is a good source of magnesium, potassium and iron.
Wild Rocket (Rocolla)
Wild rocket is packed full of vitamins C, E, B and K and adds a punchy kick to fresh salads. To balance the strong flavour, Wild Rocket is often paired with a citrus or vinegar dressing.
