This brings us closer to the grower and to the team at Tenderstem® who we work closely with to promote the brand directly to chefs, particularly through social media.
Tenderstem® broccoli was first introduced in Japan in 1993. A natural cross, it has a long stem and floret that is totally edible, even when raw. It can be cooked in a variety of ways, and it pairs well with almost anything. It has a sweet, delicate, nutty flavour, similar to asparagus, all wrapped up in a gorgeous crunch.
