Richmond Farms Sweet Pickled Carrot Ribbons
Sweet pickled carrots make a delicious, decorative finish to any meal. Here’s how we do it at Alimentum.
What you will need
3 Richmond Farms carrots peeled into ribbons
100g sugar
100g white wine vinegar
200g water
20g salt
Method
- Boil the sugar, water, vinegar and salt together – then chill. Add the carrot ribbons and leave for 24 hours at least to pickle.
- Use this recipe for salads or garnishes. We use this in many dishes at Alimentum – the one shown is roasted Scallop, pickled carrot, cucumber and sesame salad.
